欧洲中心的金字塔

去年在『Archaeology』杂志上看到关于波斯尼亚发现金字塔的文章，因为当时只是从三座丘陵的外形来判断，所以并没有怎么上心，后来也就忘记了。昨天看到National Geographic 2006的十大新闻图片，其中有一幅，就是关于这处疑似金字塔的，查了一下，原来发掘工作颇有进展，已经发现了大型石板道路、隧道、石球等人工建筑。三座山丘底下是否是金字塔，还不好说，但至少此处是一个颇具规模的史前文明遗迹，则已经很明了了。

记得美国最著名的灵媒Edgar Cayce曾经预言过，21世纪初，人类将发现关于大西洋洲（Atlantis）的文献或证据。所以这几年来，我一直非常留意考古发现，看哪一项有可能联系到Atlantis。

因为这几座疑似金字塔的缘故，又联想到Atlantis，昨夜回到家里，就找出记载Edgar Cayce关于Atlantis预言的『Mysteries of Atlantis Revisited』翻阅了一下。今天早上，打开最新的一期『The New Yorker』，居然读到了一首关于Atlantis的诗，W. S. Merwin的『Unknown Age』：

For all the features it hoards and displays
age seems to be without substance at any time

whether morning or evening it is a moment of air
held between the hands like a stunned bird

while I stand remembering light in the trees
of another century on a continent long submerged

with no way of telling whether the leaves at that time
felt memory as they were touching the day

and no knowledge of what happened to the reflections
on the pond’s surface that never were seen again

the bird lies still while the light goes on flying

诗是如此的安静玄妙。而这般的巧合，不知道有没有什么玄机在其中呢？
